In 2007, after her fellowship she joined CODS and Saifee Hospital as a Consultant Bariatric Surgeon, Dr. Bhasker has more than 2500 bariatric procedures to her credit and has performed almost the same number of laparoscopic GI procedures in the last 15 years. She performs both bariatric surgery as well as advanced laparoscopic surgery with equal ease and finesse and is one of the most experienced and surgeons in India today. She also has a keen interest in single incision (scar-less) surgery and has one of the largest series of single incision bariatric surgeries in India. She also has a vast experience in treating complicated cases and in revisional bariatric surgery.
In 2011, she was one of the first Bariatric Obesity Surgeon to be accredited by the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC) as a Center for Excellence (COE) Bariatric Surgeon in India. In 2013, she was appointed as the “Section Chief for Bariatric Surgery” at Saifee Hospital.
